Mr. Kroop is the bank manager of the Southcoast Bank. Mr. Kroop informed the Cortez family that they have a month to get $40,000 or the bank will claim their house. Later, Mr. Kroop comes by with some workers to inspect it but the dogs retaliated against them and it ended with Papi peeing on the documents that Mr. Kroop needed for the family to sign, however, this only infuriates him and demanded that they be evicted by midnight on the same day.
With all seemed lost, Mr. Kroop came by with some good news, along with some convincing from a police sergeant, Kroop tells them that the three bank robbers, who evaded police for three months and stole $15,000,000 from banks in Beverly Hills, including Southcoast Bank were Mr. Kroop works, have a $250,000 reward for their capture which the Cortez's can use to pay off the loan thanks to their dogs.
According to him and shown on a photo, Mr. Kroop has a cat name Little Prince Albert.
Despite his redemption, Mr. Kroop became a victim of the Anti-Hunters.
