G.E.N.E.B.I.O.M.E.

Genetically Enhanced Neo-Evolved Biological Individuals Of Modified Engineering, abbreviated as G.E.N.E.B.I.O.M.E., is a term for a genetic engineering project to describe someone who are genetically modified that fundamentally altered their cells that resulted in gaining advanced attributes and superpowers. These genetics tend to happen to humans, though it can also extend to non-humans, such as animals, monsters, aliens, and other creatures, which is why they are also called Evolved Individuals.

Through Jonathan's studies, he discovered the genetic mutation and named the chemical Cellular X as the mutation revolves mostly in the cellular structure. He labeled the people who have this mutation are Xvolved Individuals or simply Xvos.

Mutation Exposure and Infection

The cause of the mutation originated with six people in separate worlds who were targeted to be exposed to a bright light that's emitted in the sky that seemed harmless, however, the light emitted a chemical effect upon being gazed at without the intended target's knowledge. After a moment, the target starts to feel disoriented and becomes unconscious shortly after, where, already, the person's DNA and biological structure have been genetically modified on a cellular level. It takes approximately 30 minutes or an hour, or at least seconds for their powers and enhanced abilities to fully manifest.

The incident was caused by a criminal mastermind that is trapped in another dimension. In that world, the man was able to bend the laws of reality by traveling into a few other worlds and made contact with an alien, a spirit, and a demon who convinced them to work together to achieve their personal goals in exchange to helping the man perfect his own world. With the use of scientific technology, both human and alien, and soul modification, and being able to transport to different dimensions, the four tested the results on the intended targets who have a rough life that the mutation will lead to psychological impulses as experimented to bring out their negative emotions and desires as it will bring the full potential of one's power. With this power, the four knew would this to create an army or on oneself to respectively take control of a galaxy, be the strongest, and annihilate the human race.

Although, the four knew the results were unpredictable and would be unstable if not handled properly, especially they're prone to emotional outbursts. Hence, they send numerous people, such as serial killers, even demons and the undead, to capture them. Once captured, they attempted to control them, however, as predicted, their powers became unstable and blew up the lab they were in. The explosion caused a rift which led the mutation to spread to different worlds that resulted in many humans, animals, and other creatures getting genetically altered as well.

Powers and Abilities

X Trait

Aside from these enhancements, people will also receive a special form of power that Jon named as X Trait, the type of power depends on the person's character as it will reflect on their personality, habits, desires, or interests. As such, people will get their X Trait that is the same as someone who also has it but different based on their character. Someone who is shy and insecure could become invisible but can also acquire it if they are sly or sneaky.

The X Trait can come in either physical, mental, emotional, or supernatural. Unlike gaining enhancements, the X Trait can be used without training oneself to obtain the skill, however, it does have limits and has drawbacks if the power is overused. The limit can be extended when the person goes through extensive training to make it even stronger to where they will require additional abilities with it. If someone can read minds, they'll also acquire to mentally control people once they extend it.

The X Trait can also be amplified by using their life energy, but only acquires to physical and supernatural supplements.

They can even acquire one or more ability but may have difficulty using them together.
